Scope of work:

The Senior Golang Developer is a key member of our autonomous teams for designing and developing the backend of our applications. As a Senior member of the team, you will be a reliable tech Hero, “The one on which others rely"

You’ll enjoy helping people, solving problems, writing code samples, and unblocking situations. As a member of an autonomous team, you'll be participating in all aspects of software development (customer requirements, product design, timeframe, tech-debt) besides being a guide and an example for our junior members.

Profile:

• You have a Bachelor or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field, and ideally a couple of years of professional experience as an in-house backend developer.
• You love developing in Go, and you are obsessed by writing quality code for a disruptive product suite.
• You are a natural born coach, you enjoy helping junior people solve problems and giving them guidance when it is needed.
• You are full of resources and innovative ideas... and you love to share them! Also, you enjoy challenging your peers and be challenged in return.
• You have experience with micro-services architecture and good understanding of what is functional and reactive programming.
• You like to work in Agile.

Your get bonus points if you are interested in (or want to learn about):

• C/C++, Python, WebAssembly, Qt
• REST architecture style and network programming.
• Inter-process communication using a queue-messaging system (RabbitMQ)
• MongoDB, Docker, Redis, and CI.
